Before you came,
My heart was a field of weeds.

Before you came,
My eyes sought red.

Before you came,
My mind was black.

Before you came,
My soul was just a wandering entity.

But then…things changed…
It’s springtime now.

When you came,
My heart began flowering in the weeds.

When you came,
My eyes began seeking blue.

When you came,
My mind began to turn white.

When you came,
My soul began to have a definite path.

I know we’re still not together,
But, I also know,
That nothing will push us apart –
Not strong winds, nor some vast ocean,
Nor a mere boundary.
It was with you that I found my Light
And it will be with you that I’ll find my Path.
